Visualise
We all love to visualise, dream and imagine a beautiful life for ourselves. Why not, you certainly deserve it?
We are not letting someone else tell us what we are or not capable of. That is outside of this disucssion. But, we do focus on looking deeper into who you are, what you would like out of your life.
Time to imagine
We are all very busy people. There is so much demand on the everyday life that it is almost impossible to find sometime for ourselves and think through what we really need.
Funnily enough, you will do this at work. You will have a proper To Do List and then plan the best way to get through it. Work is important, but not more than your own self and your priorities in life.
For that, today’s focus is on identifying the time for yourself every single day where you visualise and imagine what you want to do out of your life
Dream Vs Visualisation
You might think that we are overstating dreaming. But we are not, these are two completely different things. A dream is a beautiful feeling, it makes you feel nice and warm inside. It makes your life feel great.
Unfortunately, that is the end of it. If you want more out of your life, you will have to make it happen!
And that’s where this visualisation comes in.
- If your everday starts with a vision of how your perfect life would be?
- What will that perfect life have?
- Dig in a little deeper, how do you look, feel, think and approach the things you do?
- How do you behave when you are living this perfect life?
Extending the future to present
Yes, your perfect life is a great vision. You have defined individual elements of it. The next useful question is about how to get there.
I am not going to say you need to fake it till you make it….. But we are going to say – You need not be great to start, but you will have to start!
That’s just an overused and abused tirade. Your mental construct does not have to wait to achieve your physical success. You can start embodying those mental skills today and right now. And that’s what this visualisation is all about.
It is about you getting closer to your perfect life everyday. And you should be getting closer to it everyday. One step at a time.
It is about combining these physical and mental aspects together. Ultimately, nothing ever happens in vacuum, but every small piece of effort counts. If you do it consciously, you are making great headways in this process.

Those dreams that you see while asleep versus those that keeps you awake….as they say
Indeed. I have been thinking a fair bit about dreams, purpose and why they are present. The most obvious answer was to serve us. But then at times we also serve our dreams which makes it really interesting on a philosophical sense.
Of course on a practical note, they simply are wonderful things which make us surprise ourselves through the process.
