Celeste Headlee: 10 ways to have a better conversation, TED Talk

Posted on Posted in A-Z

I have come across many articles and videos which tells you how to have a better conversation. This video does the same but its impacting. If one video that can help you get better at your conversing skills then you have reached the right article on the right website.

Celeste Headlee is the host for a television channel.  Her years of experience in interviewing people from diverse background has lead to make this compilation.

One of the best ways to enjoy a conversation is to stop talking and listen and that’s what I am going to do now is to let you listen 🙂

I have one more trick here. This is from Anthony Robbins. He says, set a goal! Before you meet someone, think what best you can do to make your time and the other person’s time worthwhile. And most of the times, its just listening and responding to you what you listened.

The sad thing is that conversation today is more likely an argument or a discussion rather than the sheer pleasure of being compassionate to others feelings and emotions.

A conversation is much more than words, its the pause in between the words, it’s the tone of  the voice, its the smile that holds so much more. A real conversation is beautiful.

I hope you enjoyed listening to Celeste Headlee, I am sure you enjoy conversation and what makes you better at it can help others too. Share your ideas here, we would love to listen!
