It is a modern american idea.

It’s okay to like it, it’s just not Lewis. I think it comes from being to a third cousin to his statement that any book worth reading at age ten is worth re reading at age fifty, with the added suggestion that if it is not worth reading at fifty, it probably wasn’t worth reading at ten, either.

Age has nothing to do with goals. We are never too old to learn something new, to do something new and challenge ourselves. That line , “It’s not that things get easier, but we get better…” is something we all need to remind ourselves. We will realise a lot about our strengths and our capabilities.
