Two sentences, intending the same but in two different ways.
Ironically, I saw these 2 yellow boards at one place, kept at a decent distance from each other. When I read “We are working to make things better.” it affirmed me that they are working to make things better which made me believe that they are into something good.
If I had come across “Work under progress.” board first. I am sure the first thing I would think would be, “Not again! It’s like forever in progress.” Well, I have to admit, seeing this board after seeing the “Working to make things better.” board made a good impact o my mind..
Quite mesmerised with how 2 same things made the difference, I started making a quick, simple and a silly difference table in my mind which is attached below.

The Yellow boards reassured me something that day. It said, “It not what you say, it’s how you say it.” and thus the tale of 2 yellow boards, one read something and the other read the same thing showed me the difference.

Obviously the second board if much more preferable, pleasing to the eyes and the mind. Good observations, Vidyashree… :-)
Thank you maniparna. I was surprised to see the second board, so used to seeing the first board everywhere :)
