Hockey gold was good. More so because we beat Pakistan. But we should not become euphoric, put our heads down and prepare, prepare and prepare. According to coach of indian team, we are on the right track but we have a long way to go. To have a system in place that produces hockey players, create a team that wins consistently by playing against teams like Australia, Germany, Holland etc. we have to wait till 2024. I hope we have patience and we do not go after coaches head after Rio Olympic when India is certain not to win any medal.

Oh it was a nail biting match at the end Alok. They were 1 each after 4 sets and they had to score goals later. They jumped out of joy when they won and I was doing the same here :)
