Today we take some inspiration from Oprah Winfrey’s quote about how important it is to surround ourselves with good people. It goes back to the idea of how an environment impacts our development. It takes a lot of energy to be a person making a change. I go back to the times of wanting to start an exercise routine or trying to be fit.
It is harder to be fitter when you’re with someone who you’d have to motivate. You need to be the person who gets the motivation because once you start the momentum will take care of progress. However if you’re the person providing the motivation for someone else, especially on the starting stages, it starts becoming a struggle.

The point I want to make here is about the environment. It is not about saying that we ought to be selfish. But it is to identify how our environment influences us and when we have the energy to motivate someone else
It is also about the awareness of when you can be a giver Vs a receiver because both of them take energy. It you’re amongst the right people who elevate your standard, you have a betyer chance of pushing yourself beyond what you can see. That’s the beauty of inspiration from people around us. They can make us question our limiting beliefs. And sometimes that’s all we need to crack open the channel of inspiration which builds it’s own momentum
