Are you finding it hard to make ends meet each and every month? Does it feel like you never have enough left over to put aside in savings or maybe indulge in those big-ticket items you’d love to treat yourself to? Perhaps you love your job right now and you aren’t looking to make a big career change, but at the same time, there may not be room for a raise at this point in time.

So, what can you do? This is when a side gig or a part time job can come in extremely handy, giving you the cash that you need to supplement your income. With that in mind, here’s a look at five jobs that can work as a part-time gig.

Food Delivery Driver

With so many restaurants relying on food delivery at the moment, this is the prime time to get a part-time gig in the industry. Often, you’re able to set your own hours, working as often or as little as you like. This really lets you tweak just how much supplemental income you make. As a food delivery driver, you can work for a particular restaurant, chain, or food delivery service.

Just be sure that if you go down this route, you enquire about food delivery insurance for your vehicle.

Dog Walking and Sitting Service

If you happen to be a dog lover, why not take that love of animals and turn it into a side business? You could work as a dog walker and/or sitter, taking on as many clients as you like. You’ll also be able to set your hours allowing you to work weekdays, weeknights, and/or weekends.

Customer Service Representative

Another option is to work for a large company but from your own home in the form of a customer service representative. There are always tons of jobs to be found in this field, with many allowing you to offer service online or by phone.

Consultancy Service

Opening up your own consultancy service is a way to take advantage of your own skills and experience and make some extra money. Let’s say, for example, that you’re extremely adept at all things computer and IT related. You can start your own side business of IT support. It’s all about finding what you’re skilled in and turning it into a part-time job.

Get Blogging

If you happen to be a wordsmith, then a job as a blogger could be ideal. As for what to blog about, experts recommend you write about something you know and love as it will come across in your writing. You can then advertise your services to those in the related-industry, or work on creating your own site with traffic and advertisers.

It Takes Creativity

So, if you’re looking for a way to supplement your income, be sure to tap into your creative side, taking into account all your experience, talent, and skills.
