1)Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management

2)Management Development Institute, Gurgaon
This is a private autonomous institute, set up in 1973. It has the honor of being the first Indian B-school accredited by Association of MBA’s(AMBA), London.
The management courses offered here, include Post Graduate (5.7-11.4 Lakh per year) Executive Post Graduate program (5.5 -5.7 Lakh per year) and Fellow programs (5.7 Lakh per year) in various specializations.
Candidate selection is done on the basis of CAT/ MDI Admission test scores/GMAT scores/UGC-JRF and performance in group discussions and interviews. One must have 50% marks or equivalent CGPA at 10+2 level and any graduation degree with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from any recognized university. And 5-year work experience is also required in case of executive and part-time programs.
For Fellow programs, a master’s degree with 60% marks or equivalent grade point average with bachelor’s degree, is also looked into.
An attraction this year, was the highest salary package offered, which was Rs. 55 lakhs per annum and saw the participation of nearly 140 companies. That’s not a bad number at all!

3)International Management Institute, New Delhi
This college was established in 1981 in collaboration with IMI, Geneva. And it’s also another management institute to have been accredited by AMBA. Apart from the main campus, two other campuses are located at Kolkata and Bhubaneswar.

A variety of courses are offered at this college, including PGDM(7.7 Lakh per year), Executive PGDM, FPM (Fellow), PGDHRM, Ph.D. and other international exchange programs.
Now, with regard to admissions, any bachelor’s degree with 50% marks from any recognized college, is sufficient for PGDM and PGDHRM courses. As for the Executive PGDM, any Bachelor’s degree with 60% marks and 5 years of work is sufficient. Then, further selection of candidates is usually done on basis of their CAT/ GMAT/ IMI Test scores, discussions personal interviews.
On course completion, most of the students are placed. They are offered an average package of Rs.10 Lakhs p.a. The other highlights of this institute are it’s cultural and management events, summer internships combined with well-known faculty. In short, an active and vibrant, life at a campus.
4)Birla Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida
Birla Institute of Management Technology, an IRDA accredited institution, was established in 1988.
The courses offered here are Post Graduate Diploma in Management (5.5 Lakh per year) and Doctoral Level Programs (3.14 Lakh per year).
With regard to admissions, a Master’s Degree in relevant discipline with 60% marks or equivalent grade point average recognized by AICTE/AIU with a Bachelor’s degree /equivalent qualification after completing 10+2 level is looked into. Scores based on CAT/ GMAT/ UGC-NET/ BIMTECH Entrance Exams are also considered, as the next step.
On course completion, about 80% of students get placed. An average package of Rs. 7.5 Lakhs is offered, at the beginning.

First importance for admission criteria is based on CAT scores, followed by Interviews and analysis test. 85 percentile is cut off in general category. It is 75 and 60 for Non-OBC and SC/ST.
Students benefit, being a pass out from IIM. They are offered an average package of Rs. 13-15 Lakh p.a. Despite being a new college, this IIM has built a fine name for itself.
9) Manav Rachna International University, Faridabad,
This is a deemed university, that was established in the year 1997. Last year, the Faculty of Management Studies under this university had received A++++ rating during the Best B-School survey by Business India.
The management program offered, at this university, is the MBA course. Admission is usually based on performance in Group discussion and personal interview and CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT scores.
The MBA course has quite a decent placement record; the highest salary package offered was Rs. 12 Lakh p.a. last year. With regard to campus life, students do enjoy a variety of cultural programs, festivals, and a supportive management.
10) Amity Business School, Noida
This is a private business school that was established in 1999 and is affiliated with the Amity University. Its masters in business administration course come with a variety of specializations. (Rs. 4.94 -5.2 Lakh per year). Admission is based on Group discussions, interviews and GMAT/CAT/ XAT and entrance test scores. The cut off is 85 percentile for CAT/XAT tests.
On course completion, most students are placed with an average package of Rs. 8-10 Lakhs p.a.

11) Fore School of Management, New Delhi
