SJCE Mysore, Yampa, cold coffee – Bliss :)

I had been to our college today, on a meeting with our Principal. Half way through, I realized that I was going to be there for quite a while and luckily for me, I had a book in my bag. I pulled it out and then I realized, there was something I have always been wanting to do- read a book in the coffee place.

Well it is a classier version to read a book in the coffee day or the Barista, people find this as a person of taste. Well I don’t want to make a comment on my tasteful behaviours :P , but I didn’t want to pass on this opportunity, I had a lovely book on Mysore Palace architecture in my hands and thought – why not?!

The next stop was at the college café – The Yashaswini Milk parlor, much fondly known as “The Yampa”. Ordered a cold coffee as our usual tradition. There has always been something special about this cold coffee. By far, this has been the best cold coffee I have ever had in my life. It surpasses the coffee days and the Baristas any day. It may be for the emotional attachment we have for this place or maybe the nostalgia of the solid memories; it still remains the most special place.

I pulled out the book from my bag, cold coffee in one hand and the book in the other. For a moment I found it classy and a little later a bit weird, cos it was the college and I was violating the guy code by not looking around :D . But somehow, this felt nice. There are some specific moments which we wouldn’t trade for anything else in the world and this in particular was one such for me. It felt so right.

It was as if the perfect definition of bliss was formulating itself. I don’t know for what reason I have never been able to do the same in a posh coffee place, but a chair under the tree, cold coffee in one hand and the book in the other somehow beat the expectations of the other so called classier things. If that is not the definition of bliss, I sure don’t know what is J

  1. Heya this is somewhat of off topic but I was
wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually
code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding experience so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Does your website have a contact page? I’m having a tough time locating it but, I’d like
to shoot you an e-mail. I’ve got some ideas for your blog you might be interested in hearing. Either way, great site and I look forward to seeing it grow over time.
