Quotes from Lance Armstrong

If you worried about falling off the bike, you’d never get on.

My mother told me “if you’re going to get anywhere, you’re going to have to do it yourself, because no one is going to do it for you.”

Pain is temporary. Quitting lasts forever.

Knowledge is power, community is strength and positive attitude is everything

There comes a time in every race when a competitor meets the real opponent, and understands that its himself.

Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever

What ever your 100% looks like, give it.

Hope that is the only antidote to fear.

  1. Thank you Kiran :). I have been an absolute fan of his from the time I read his book – “It is not about the bike” .. Such true ones and so much of character in each one of them :)

  2. Oh Yes Tara.. Fantastic book, I’m so glad that you liked it. I loved going through that book of his. Talks about so many things, so many things about true character. I have always been amazed what has made these people the way they are. Perhaps the answer is the way they look at things. His achievements and the way he has faced challenges would any day be an amazing story to read and feel :).

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing your views.. Will look forward to refresh your memory in more such accounts :)
