The Fault in Our Stars Review
The Fault in Our Stars

John Green is the writer of “The Fault in our Stars” which remained number 1 on ‘The New York Times Best Seller’ list in January 2012. The film adaption with the same name also became very popular. The ones who have read this book or watched the movie can never forget this line: “Some infinities are bigger than other infinities.” The fault in our stars is a beautiful novel that is close to my heart.  The story of a 16-year-old girl, a cancer patient who is forced by her parents to attend a support group where she meets and eventually falls in love with a 17-year-old boy, an amputee. It is a heart-warming and a heart-breaking story giving you a beautiful insight of the two lives and love. Anybody who is looking for a novel filled with a beautiful love story, I would recommend it. I promise you, the book has more to give you regarding many aspects of life and when you end it you will be glad to have read it.

John Green’s Advise

“Every single day, I get emails from aspiring writers asking my advice about how to become a writer, and here is the only advice I can give: Don’t make stuff because you want to make money — it will never make you enough money. And don’t make stuff because you want to get famous — because you will never feel famous enough. Make gifts for people — and work hard on making those gifts in the hope that those people will notice and like the gifts.

Maybe they will notice how hard you worked, and maybe they won’t — and if they don’t notice, I know it’s frustrating. But, ultimately, that doesn’t change anything — because your responsibility is not to the people you’re making the gift for, but to the gift itself.”
