John Lennon: 5 Great Messages To You

Posted on Posted in A-Z, Motivational Quotes

John Lennon. The first thing that comes to your mind is The Beatles, right? He is one of the most influential  and inspiring people in the world of music. His message of love, peace and happiness will always be remembered. People have mixed opinions about him. Some admire him for bringing up a revolutionary change ,which he did and a few hate him for his statements regarding Jesus. I think we have learned to pick up the best things from a person, appreciate it and try implementing it in life for our betterment.

Here we are presenting you 5 inspiring quotes of the musical legend:

When I was five years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down happy. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.
This has been my favourite and shall always remain my favourite lines by him. People have different desires when it comes to achieving goals. Some look for name, fame and some for the bank balance. In the end we do what we do to keep ourselves happy. Everything relates to happiness.

You’re just left with yourself all the time, whatever you do anyway. You’ve got to get down to your own God in your own temple. It’s all down to you, mate.

Situations and circumstances disturb you but you are not mould completely by it. You still have control over everything happening in your life. You may not have complete control over it but there isn’t anything which you can’t do positively about it.

There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance. We need to learn to love ourselves first, in all our glory and our imperfections. If we cannot love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability to love others or our potential to create. Evolution and all hopes for a better world rest in the fearlessness and open-hearted vision of people who embrace life.

The above line says all. Fear pulls you back and love gives you strength. The love you give yourself is one of the greatest gift you can reward yourself.

Time you enjoy wasting, was not wasted.

I repeat this line when my laziness overtakes my will power. I know, I know….. I underpin my laziness and it’s bad. But if you are like jack who works all day with no play then you have to waste your time 🙂

Yeah we all shine on, like the moon, and the stars, and the sun.
Positivism and hope change the way you look at life and yes someday you will shine out. You deserve it for all the efforts and hard work you put in.
